V3 Hub

Precision-machined 7075 aluminium hubs that clamp onto the outside of your staff. Choose 6 or 8 spokes and swap between fire, LED and practice spokes as you grow.

    Grips cover the relevant parts of the Fusion staff for comfort and control during use. F-Grip and silicone are sleeves; EPDM is wrapped on.

    F-Grip only, on the central handle; end tubes are bare
    A 19mm handle plus grip is approximately 22mm OD, matching the bare ends. Users hold the handle to spin the staff.


    Contact / Dragon
    Most of the staff, across the handle and end sections
    Approximately 25mm OD with grip. Users roll the staff across their body, making contact with much more than the central handle.


    Contact and dragon staffs use the same parts. Their grip stops short of the ends to avoid being burnt. Exact clearance and coverage by end type remain to be documented. Grip adds approximately 3mm to the overall diameter, not 3mm on each side.

    The installed grip affects whether a combination is suitable: a spin handle can physically connect to contact/dragon ends, but its approximately 22mm gripped diameter does not match their approximately 25mm gripped diameter.     Silicone Tube

    • Clear silicone product
    • Slides onto the staff
    • Dimensions: 17mm ID × 20mm OD (recently downsized 2mm for tighter fit)
    • Works well in dry conditions
    • Gets pretty slippery when sweating

    EPDM Foam

    • Wrapped-on foam grip
    • Most grippy when sweaty — best for heavy perspiration
    • Least durable — wears out quickly
    • Leaves black residue on skin during use
    • Being wrapped, it can also overlap on the joins.

Note:
Optional aluminium end caps.
End caps are required for use with V3 Hubs as they protect the end of your staff and add extra strength. They are not needed for F3 or Ultra Hubs as they screw directly into the tubing.
