Fusion Contact Fire Staff

The most versatile collapsible Contact Fire Staff on the market. Designed in Burleigh Heads, Australia, the Fusion Contact Fire Staff packs down into three pieces for travel and locks back together with our patented compression lock, so there is no wobble and no rattle when you roll.

Built for body rolls

The Fusion contact build is gripped over most of its length, giving you a consistent 25mm gripped surface to roll across your arms, chest and back. The grip stops short of the wicks so it stays clear of the flame, and the exposed aluminium on the ends is covered in silicone so accidental contact with a hot end does not burn your skin. It comes fitted with our F-Grip natural rubber grip: very grippy, very durable, and still reliable once you start sweating.

Choose your build

• Handle: aluminium or carbon fibre. Carbon fibre saves around 55g and is our most popular choice. Fire ends are always aluminium whichever handle you pick, keeping carbon fibre away from the heat.
• Wick: three Kevlar options. 4" Sushi Wrap is our standard: flat Kevlar webbing wrapped around the tube and fixed in place. Monkey Fist is a knotted Kevlar ball on the end of the tube. Isis is a knotted weave that gives a bigger flame and a longer burn.
• Silicone Flowers (optional): fitted on the fire ends, they slow the roll down and make body rolls easier to learn. A great pick if you are new to contact.
• Length: 1400, 1500, 1600 or 1700mm. Stand the staff on the ground beside you. For contact it should reach somewhere between your chin and mid-chest.

How it goes together

Push each end over the O-ring on the handle connector until the join sits flush, then twist until tight. Twisting expands the rubber inside the tube into a compression lock that holds the end firmly, and the O-ring keeps metal off metal so nothing rattles. Twist the other way to pack down.

Part of the Fusion system

Every Fusion part is interchangeable. Clamp on a pair of V3 hubs and fire spokes and this becomes a fire dragon staff. Swap the fire ends for Lumi LED contact ends and the same handle becomes an LED staff. Fit the Double Adapter in place of the handle for a short fire staff.

Specs

Weights are per piece with F-Grip. Fire ends are weighed dry with fasteners and without flowers. All weights are approximate and may vary slightly between batches.

Monkey Fist end weights are coming soon. Total staff weight is one handle plus two ends. Tube is 22mm outside diameter, about 25mm with grip.
