The African Xylophone is a percussive musical instrument handmade from wood that produces deep and resonant sounds. This ancient instrument originated independently in Africa and Asia and gives off a charming and happy sound. Gourds sit underneath the keys which helps to achieve its resonance and warm tone.
The African Xylophone is played using the provided rubber 'tyre' mallets to strike each tuned key.
This is an authentic handmade item, so it may have imperfections, and each one will look slightly different.
