Ukulele Lessons - Burleigh Heads

Kelsey, our wonderful facilitator, is currently in Canada... we can’t wait to have her back and for you to join us then.
Come learn how to play Ukulele in a fun and light environment. Great for absolute beginners. Come along and have some fun :)

About
During this fun and all-inclusive class you will be welcomed as a beginner and celebrated as an intermediate player. Our dedicated and passionate teacher, Kelsey, caters to all who arrive ready to learn and have a whole lot of fun playing Ukulele songs together. The song choices range from classics, country, pop, reggae and blues. Kelsey is open to requests, if the song is suitable for the class she will learn it and teach it to you.
In each lesson you'll cover 3-6 chords used in the song being learnt that evening. The class begins with a warm up with a beginner strumming pattern and progress into an intermediate strumming pattern. You'll engage in Ukulele exercises to sharpen our skills and get more precise with chord changes. The class will end with a glow light jam, where lights are turned off and everyone can let themselves feel the music, playing the song just learnt with the option to sing along if you're feeling it
By the lesson's end you will confidently play a new song!
