Kayu Pro Stainless Steel Handpan

The Kayu Pro Stainless Steel Handpan is made fully by hand start to finish. It is constructed of 2 stainless steel bowls which are then hammered by hand to create dents and a small mound which form the sound fields of the instrument. The central or base note is located in the middle of the handpan, surrounded by a circle of the other 8 or 9 notes. You can see the gradual curve into each note that can only be created by hand beating with a hammer. With handpans made by a machine, you will notice more distinct indents around each note.
