Halo Fan System: Assembly Instructions
The Halo Fan uses a modular system that allows for total creative control. To ensure your spokes are secure and your threads remain in perfect condition, please follow these steps carefully:
1. Position the Spoke. Insert the Halo spoke into your desired mounting hole on the Handle. Ensure the spoke is pushed all the way in until it bottoms out against the internal stop.

2. Align the Grub Screw. Place the provided M6 Grub Screw into the threaded hole. Use the 3mm Allen Key to guide it in.
-
Crucial Tip: Ensure the grub screw is properly aligned before applying pressure and screwing it in.

3. Initial Threading Slowly turn the Allen Key clockwise. You should feel the screw gliding smoothly into the thread.
-
Safety Check: If you feel resistance before the screw hits the spoke, stop immediately. Back the screw out completely and re-align it to avoid cross-threading the Handle ring.
4. Tighten & Secure Keep turning until the grub screw makes contact with the spoke. Apply firm pressure to tighten it down securely. Once tightened, give the spoke a firm pull with your hand to verify there is no movement.

5. Complete Your Configuration. Repeat this process for all remaining spokes. Ensure every screw is checked for tightness before use.

You’re ready to flow!
Tech Handle Adapter: Assembly Instructions
The Halo Fan comes standard with a 90mm Russian-style ring. Adding the Tech Insert reduces the internal diameter to 50mm, providing the tight, responsive control needed for technical flow.
1. Position the Base Plate. Take the bottom half of the Tech Insert; this is the side without screw holes on the outer face. Place it inside the Halo ring.
-
Pro Tip: For a cleaner look, place this half against the face of the Halo handle that features the engraving.

2. Align the Top Plate. Place the second half of the Tech Insert on top of the first, sandwiching the Halo ring between them. Ensure the four screw holes are perfectly aligned.

3. Pre-Seat the Screws Using the provided Allen key, gently insert the four screws.
-
Important: At this stage, do not tighten them. Simply thread them in until they stay in place. This allows you to make final adjustments.

4. Alignment & Final Tightening Rotate the Tech Insert until it is perfectly parallel with your centre spoke (or your preferred orientation). Hold the insert firmly in place so it doesn’t shift, then tighten the four screws in a "cross pattern" to ensure even pressure.

5. The Stability Test. Before use, check the fit:
-
Grip the Tech Ring with one hand and the outer Halo Handle with the other.
-
Try to twist or slide them against each other.
-
If there is zero movement, your Tech Handle is secure and ready for action.
Halo LUMI Fan: Assembly Instructions
The LUMI conversion transforms your Halo system into a high-visibility LED fan using a specialised arch and fabric cover.
- Assemble the LUMI Arch. Connect the LED arch sections by inserting the spoke ends into the arch. This is a simple press-fit connection. Ensure they are pushed in firmly.

2. Align Spacing & Mounting. To achieve the correct tension for the LUMI system, you must use specific mounting holes on the Halo ring:
-
First Spoke: Insert into your starting mounting hole.
-
Middle Spoke: Count 4 empty holes from the first spoke; insert the middle spoke into the 5th hole.
-
Final Spoke: Count 4 empty holes from the middle spoke; insert the last spoke into the 5th hole.
-
Note: Ensure all three spokes are fully bottomed out in the holes before proceeding.

3. Align the Grub Screws. Place an M6 Grub Screw into each of the three threaded holes. Use the 3mm Allen Key to guide them.
-
Crucial Tip: Ensure the grub screw is properly aligned before applying pressure and screwing it in.

4. Initial Threading & Safety Check. Slowly turn the Allen Key clockwise. It should glide smoothly.
-
Safety Check: If you feel resistance before the screw reaches the spoke, stop immediately. Back the screw out and re-align it to prevent cross-threading the aluminium handle.
5. Tighten & Secure. Tighten the grub screws until they make firm contact with the spokes. Apply pressure to lock them in. Give each spoke a firm tug to ensure the entire arch assembly is immobile.

6. Fit the Fabric Cover
-
Undo the zipper on the fabric cover.
-
Hook the non-zippered corner over one end of the fan arch.
-
Gently stretch the cover across the arch until it reaches the opposite end.
-
Caution: Stretch firmly but carefully to avoid over-straining or damaging the fabric.
-
Close the zipper to lock the cover in place.
You’re ready to flow!
CHARGING THE LIGHTS
1- Remove the Fabric Cover: Unzip the cover and slide it off.
2- Use the provided USB-C cable to plug the lights in for charging.
3- Optional: If you need to charge the lights outside the fan, you can remove the light unit lifting them out with your fingernail or a small flat-head screwdriver.
