i have to admit to musical ignorance as a pressie for my 8 year old boy. was recommended this as a good ukulele for the price range by a music teacher, boy wrapped with it (its green!!) so it has hit the mark there. sounds good and looks well made. have tuner for it so staying in tune.
only draw back is the fabric case for the instrument from the manufacturer basically shopping bag material but for the price something has to give.
three worlds was really quick to send, well packaged for delivery (which will be used as kids case) and smelt lovely (nice surprise there).
happy to have come across this site as i will be buying 'circus tricks' for the boys as they get older.

No dots included with these. There are books that teach with the dots that also outline their placement i believe. Cheers.
