The drum is carefully tuned to either the key of C or D to create a cohesive sounding melodies which can be played effortlessly without any musical theory knowledge. Play in any pattern with either mallets or bare hands and express yourself through the cheery sounds created.

Comes with a handy bag for easy transportation. Lightly padded and made from durable synthetic canvas material. Accessories including mallets and finger mallets fit nicely inside with the drum.

My Kyu Lotus drum

I purchased my drum after meeting a woman on a beach in Nth Queensland
where we were camping We heard the notes across the sand & after meeting her
I just had to have one. My wife &I live in an apartment block in Newcastle NSW &
after hearing my drum quite a few of the other tenants want one. Hope you have plenty in stock!

Therapeutic for children and the therapists!

I work at an early intervention centre where we provide intensive therapy to children with Autism. I was curious to see if they would actually enjoy the drum, but it’s safe to say it’s been an absolute hit with both the children and the therapists. The children all gravitated to it and we’re mesmerized by it on the first day they saw it and still enjoy it when it’s brought out occasionally. It even has come in handy to help settle some of them down for nap time.

Beautiful sound

I bought the Lotus Steel Tongue Drum for my 7 year old daughter who was wanting a musical instrument. We heard it in her music concert and it was so beautiful I was wanting it for home. She absolutely loves it and it creates such beautiful music throughout the house. Even when she is learning the melodies it sounds gorgeous. I would highly recommend it and an even going to start playing it myself to relax

Lotus steel tongue drum

This drum was a present for my young granddaughter, who loves playing music and singing. It was delivered very promptly. It's a lovely, versatile instrument which always sounds good. She makes up her own tunes on the drum.
