The Kayu kalimbas are designed by Threeworlds in Australia. Constructed from 17 metal tines, they are well-tuned and can be played immediately after purchase. Tuned to the international scale of C, you'll be able to play all of your favourite songs on this.
The Kayu Luna Kalimba has a beautiful moon-shaped inlet of mother of pearl. Combined with the caramel toned wood, this instrument is just as visually pleasing as it is musically.
It has a sweet and warm timbre, made from a mahogany frame to maximise volume and resonance. When played, it produces a soothing and comforting harp-like sound. It is lightweight and easy to learn and play perfect for beginners and intermediate alike.
It produces a peaceful and long-lasting sound due to both the materials, design, and make.
Included in the kit is a tuning hammer should the instrument get dropped and knocked out of tune and a velveteen drawstring bag to keep the instrument when not in use.
