Metal Tuning Forks - Set

This set of Tuning Forks is made from Aluminium. Lightly tap each fork to produce a resonating note. Each fork has a different frequency relating to the seven chakras. Hold them by the stem and gently strike the flat circle on either side. You can hold them close to the ear to hear them, they can be waved over the body, or you can press the base of the stem to the body to feel the vibrations through your entire body.

These Tuning Forks are based on the Cosmic Octave, a system developed by Hans Cousto that translates planetary, orbital, and natural frequencies into audible sound. This is different from the standard musical scale, so for example, the Heart Chakra fork isn’t tuned to F (349.23 Hz) as it would be in the Western musical system, but rather to a frequency derived from the Earth's year frequency, which corresponds to 136.10 Hz in the Cosmic Octave.

Each fork in the set aligns with a planetary or natural resonance, not traditional note values. They're designed to work with the subtle body and energy centers using these cosmic, rather than musical, correlations.
