The Chau Gong is a traditional Chinese Gong that is now widely used in sound healing.
The Chau Gong creates a wide range of powerful and dynamic soundscapes. The variation of striking and timing on the instrument can produce merging and resonant vibrations . Strike it strongly to make a rumbling bass or strike it more lightly to make buzzing overtones or rhythmically strike it for crashing, echoing waves.
Made in the traditional Chinese way. The Chau Gong is made through a process of casting, tempering, forming, lathing, polishing and toning.
Includes mallet.
