These clapsticks are both a playable instrument and a gorgeous piece of art. Pick from hand-painted or burnt designs depicting native Australian animals or indigenous patterns. To play, strike one stick against the other to create a rhythm. These are commonly played along side a didgeridoo.
These clapsticks are handmade by a fourth generation aboriginal family business. Their business, called Murra Wolka Creations, means 'hand-painted' in the local country's language. Their tribe areas include Gubbi Gubbi, Biri Gubba, Kuku-Yalangi, and more.
