I discovered my collapsable fusion dragon staff had a wobble to it (it was bent). I was told it wasn’t covered under warranty so I purchased a new middle section. I received the new middle section, but there is still a bad wobble. I have now spent over $400 on a product that doesn't work. The seller is not responding even after I purchased a second item from them to fix the problem. I thought this company was so great too until now. So unfortunate. $400 wasted. Hopefully they get back to me so I can change this review.
I bought this contact dragon staff after being able to play with the exact one my friend had and, she’s amazing... like the grip, the weight, everything about her is so perfect, I’m a beginner and I know she’s gana teach me good :) I love you svetlana the dragon
I was first introduced to a Three World's dragon staff at 2019 Pac Fire in Oregon. I was captivated. I visited the site twice and both times it was sold out. I figure its been busy times during COVID times. I went to the site for my third time and low and behold it was available! I purchased it right away and have had no regrets. There was a manufacturing flaw that my wicks were not fastened on the cables but I wrote customer service and they sent over replacements. I am extremely pleased with the build, it's durability, how it easy it is to transport. Thank you Three Worlds!
I was so excited to receive this staff, the shipping delays were mild torture but it was so worth the wait!
It's obvious that a lot of care went into the construction of the staff itself, as a contact staff it has a nice weight and balance - the dragon hubs add a good bit of weight to each end once put on, but it's perfectly balanced and lends well to all types of body rolls. As a full dragon staff it has a substantial weight to it, but it's not too heavy - it may be a problem for more petite spinners, I ordered a 1700mm but I imagine a shorter staff would be a bit lighter (there's also a carbon fiber model that I've tried out before from a friend and it's way lighter to throw a out, so if you're worried about how heavy it is, check that one out).
The silicone grip is nice and tacky, but it doesn't pull the hairs on my arms which is good - it does hurt if you get it caught up in your hair, like all other grips, so if you have longer hair I'd suggest maybe wearing some sort of Buff or something like that, or tight plaits or whatever, but again that applies to literally every other staff that I've played with so!
I've yet to light it up, it's definitely better to practice and be completely confident with the prop before lighting up - there's loads of tutorials available so that shouldn't be a problem!
So all in all, fantastic construction, lovely weight and balance, tacky grip and loooovely product! Fantastic value for money, I'd recommend this to anyone who's interested in getting a beginner dragon staff but wants the option of the contact staff as well! Also the more wicks the better ey?!
Couldn't be happier with this staff, thanks so much Threeworlds, you guys are legends!
I'm just beginning in "dragon staffing" and I'm very very satisfied with that one, the silicone gives a very nice grip.
Cheers guys :D
