'Collapsible Contact Staff Made for Travellers'
The Fusion Contact Fire Staff is a collapsible, three piece contact fire staff. It packs down in seconds making it a must have for all travelling fire contact spinners.
1 x Fusion Contact Handle
2 x Fusion Contact Fire Ends with 100mm Kevlar Wick
This a replacement for the exact same Contact Staff I bought from Threeworlds a year earlier. I use this as a Dragon staff though. It is incredibly grippy and sticks to my body like glue, but it can itch and leave black marks on your body. With daily use working in a bar and taking a lot of rough treatment, my original lasted about a year before the grip wore off and eventually the handle snapped. This is great for travel and you can hide it in a bag if you do not want people staring at you for carrying what look's like a weapon. The handle works by when the end's are tightened the rubber bungs on the handle get squashed and expand creating friction. Any query's on purchase's or desired customize's, Threeworlds staff are very helpful and prompt to respond. Let's keep on Spinning!!
The Fusion contact staff lives up to it's global reputation as the best collapsible staff on the market. The compression lock system used is ingenious and extremely easy to use. Unlike most its competitors, there is essentially no vibration or wobble at all; it is barely detectable with some tosses. The construction and materials are top notch. The wicks are a bit less girth than I am used to on my other contact staff, which means the weight distribution was a bot different, but putting some silicone tape on the exposed parts of the staff brought it closer to what I'm used to. All in all I'm amazed at the product I got for the price, including shipping to the East Coast of the US.
Very good and fast delivery from Australia to Switzerland with nice information via e-mail about the current status of my order.
I like the fire staff too cause it's modular and lightweight
I bought the Fusion contact with the LED end add on.
The LED's have been good and have hidden light sequences which is fun, although one has now stopped working (probably due to dropping so no complaints there).
However, I am concerned with the Fire ends. I have had the staff for a few months now but had only been using the LED ends. I finally managed to get out and have a play with the fire ends. After checking that they were secured properly and doing a few small movements, I've lit them and started spinning. After about 2 minutes of play, one of the ends has come flying off and almost hit someone. Now, I'm aware that it is a contact staff and is for slower movements and so when I am doing an average speed spin around my torso, I wouldn't expect this to be too much for it to handle. I feel as though the LED's didn't have an issue as they are lighter than the fire ends.. but as a collapsible fire toy, I feel as though it should have a stronger grip inside the staff so that this doesn't happen.
I really don't like to complain and I haven't heard anyone else having an issue but.. It is just so dangerous and I am so lucky that nobody was injured. I am too nervous to use it again.
Highly recommend the LED's but maybe just stick to a full length staff for fire.
