This model is a one piece design that features twin layers of polycarbonate tube to increase stability and reduce unwanted wobble. This is my second Led staff in about 8 years, The first one finally died after a ton of use. Loved it so much bought the new version with heaps of new modes.
Hey my dudes and / or dudettes! I'm 99.9% happy with my order but I'm having teething problems with one of the two ends of my staff - it's become unresponsive and a bit finicky. I've tried new batteries but it keeps playing up. Is there some way i could send it back for repair and / or get a new control piece? I don't know where else to contact for help.
Very durable, weighted nicely, light settings and brightness are good, great product would buy from again cheers fellas
I ordered the staff together with the poi in a package. The staff itself feels very good and has a nice grip to it, but after barely spinning it, when I hold the centre of it there is a bit of a crackly noise that makes me worried it will break soon... so definitely not going to touch it until I get confident enough that it won't be dropped ahaha
The poi are great, only issue with them is that the LED lights keep flying out no matter how hard i push them in initially, but that is easily fixed with some tape over the ends.
Overall satisfied though. The lights are very pretty and I've been getting a lot of fun out of them!
initally worked easily using example chart as a guide and then senior school students loved the long exposure work, inspired by professional Australian photographer, Peter Solness.
Amazing outcomes and a robust product, which enables experimentation and impact
