Bangourake New DVD "Traditional Guinean Rythms" vol1 (02:03)
This DVD It has been shot on location in Conakry and it is very rootsy and raw. The rhythms that are on the disc are Liberté, Moribayassa, Sinté, Sillamallon, Tiriba, Donsou and Guinea Fare. All parts are broken down by Bangouraké and played by him. In the next part he plays a "call" for every instrument to drop into the rhythm and you will see clearly how the rhythm builds up. There is also a performance bit in where all the rhythms are being played in full Guinean speed and crazy solos. Sibo Bangoura plays on it as well as Momae Bangoura who is Fode Seydou Bangoura's younger brother. The sample you are seeing is from a rhythm called Moribayassa.
