This is a note from a class on the World Cycle. The World Cycle is an intergral part of the Raja Yoga Philosophy. It understands, as do i, that the world is eternal just as us souls are. Further, that the world is like a stage upon which us actors (souls) take bodies (costumes) and play our parts (jason, matt, you, your mum etc...). We see that not knowing this reality has created far to much seriousness in people. People believe that they are in fact their bodies, and further more are there occupation and status. So this note was an expansion of this concept. . The actors come onto the Stage, not from it. They live before and will live on after. For it is a play and they are but actors in it. The props are varied from beauty to not so. From the natural and original, such as trees and flowers to the creations, so varied, of man. Etched in the stones of Eternity. The script is sovereign yet subservient. It dictates that to come and that which has been. Though It was never written, and is being written. Forever changing into that which it was, and is… The Director writes not the script, but simply reminds the actors of it. The immortal image, never changing face, for he never takes one on. The sense that comes from a distant veiw. The insight from the offset. Detached but Loving. This is the role of God. The conscience speaks so softly, as not to disturb the play. A voice of light, of knowing right from wrong. The mortal form is taken. Made to measure, and made to move, these bodies are for souls. The eyes, the ears the sense of touch, relating souls to stage. Such a well fit costume that after these years of wearing, the actors forget they are independant, and come to think they are…. the costumes? But every act must end, for it is just that An act. a mortal expression of the Eternal.
