About 6 months ago we made a decision to move to Burleigh Heads. It was based on a number of reasons, most of which was our landlord giving us a months notice. We proceeded to move our manufacturing and warehousing to the back of Burleigh and landed a lease in James Street Burleigh Heads. (the best location on the Gold Coast in our opinion)
The landlord then had a change of heart allowing us to continue our business in Mermaid Beach. That coupled with our history in Mermaid Beach, and our attachment to the space there, lead us to stay on. The cafe was booming and the shop wasn't affected too much by the Burleigh store.
What was affected though was our performance and joy. We had too much to manage, and critical things, like customer service! were being affected. We have always tried to keep every customer happy and do our best to meet everyone's needs. But in the current configuration we just aren't fulfilling this basic function. So we had to make a really really big call.
It's such a hard decision but we are just focusing on the future more than the past. The past has been incredibly awesome so it just seems crazy to let that go, but thinking about what is next is even more exciting and no doubt will be even better than before. So here we go!
The end of this month is the end of an era at Mermaid Beach, and the start of new things. Our focus going forward. Refinement, new products, our website and good vibes.
Probably the toughest thing about all this is that the cafe will not be relocated. Chef Cynthia has done an amazing job with the space and the menu and created a loyal following. So it is really really hard to say that it is coming to an abrupt end. But the future is open, and Cynthia is a bundle of energy and we are sure she will continue her work in some form in the near future.
Life's full of opportunity and we are excited to see what emerges next! Speaking of opportunities. We are going to be clearing a lot of stock. So come in for some bargains ;)

It's our sixth year running and our new location, Byron Bay, will be setting the scene for an epic night of Fire Twirling at it's very best. So get your act together now as we invite groups of 2 or more to enter. This event is all about sharing our passion, creativity and inspiration so is open to anyone and everyone who loves fire spinning.
Burleigh Heads New Shop
NEW SHOP OPEN - Burleigh Heads
Burleigh is home to the Burleigh Drumming nights, the headland, the awesome Burleigh beach and the great village feel it's famous for. It is, in our opinion, the best place on the Coast.

Threeworlds Byron Bay
We have a new store opening in Byron Bay this Saturday the 25th of Sept. The store is home in a big old house at number 7 Marvell St, just off Jonson St. It has a huge backyard that will provide the space for a wide variety of community events, and workshops. So drop in soon to say hi and to check out the great range of gear now available to the byron region.
